Information you give us

When you request a quote, we collect information you submit through the form, including:

• Your name and contact details (email address and mobile phone number)
• Your ZIP code and state of residence
• Basic demographic information (such as gender, age, tobacco use, and general health rating)
• Coverage preferences (such as desired coverage amount and term length)
• Your stated preference for how we follow up (call, text, or email)

Information we collect automatically

When you visit the site we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical and usage information through cookies and similar technologies, including:

• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 collects information about page views, events, device type, approximate location, and traffic source so we can understand how the site is used.
• Session replay and behavior analytics: Contentsquare records page interactions (such as clicks, scrolls, and form navigation) to help us improve the quote experience. Sensitive form fields are masked where supported.
• Advertising pixels: We may use advertising pixels (for example from Meta or Google) so we can measure the performance of marketing campaigns and show relevant ads.
• TrustedForm: We use ActiveProspect TrustedForm to create a session recording (a TrustedForm Certificate) that documents the consent language you saw and your agreement to it when you submit the quote form. This recording is used as proof of consent and is retained by ActiveProspect on our behalf.

How we use your information

• Generate your estimated rate and display your quote
• Follow up with you by phone, text, and/or email about your quote and related insurance products, using the method(s) you consented to on the form
• Match you with a licensed BeneHub insurance agent who can help complete an application
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site
• Comply with legal and regulatory obligations and respond to lawful requests

How we share your information

BeneHub does not sell your information to unaffiliated third parties, and we do not auction your lead to outside call centers. We share information only as needed to deliver the service:

• BeneHub licensed agent partners: Your information is shared with the licensed insurance agent(s) inside the BeneHub network who will provide your quote and follow up with you, as described in the consent language on the quote form.
• Insurance carriers: If you choose to move forward, your information is shared with the insurance carrier(s) you apply to so they can underwrite and issue a policy.
• Service providers: We share information with vendors who help us operate the site (such as hosting, analytics, session replay, consent verification, email, and SMS providers). These vendors are bound by contract to use the information only to provide their services to us.
• Legal: We may disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction.

Your choices and how to opt out

• Text messages: Reply STOP to any marketing text to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
• Email: Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
• Phone calls: Tell the agent you do not want to receive further calls, or email us at the address below.
• Everything else: Email legal@benehub.com to request that we stop contacting you, delete your information, or provide a copy of the information we hold about you. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law (for example, California, Colorado, Virginia).
• Cookies and analytics: You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Data retention

We retain quote and contact information for as long as needed to provide the service you requested, to comply with our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations (including insurance and telemarketing consent rules), to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. TrustedForm consent certificates are retained for the period required to demonstrate proof of consent. When information is no longer needed we delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children

The site is intended for U.S. residents who are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the site.
